Abigail Alana Emmett

Miss Abigail Alana Emmett, 9, of 2835 Bowman Highway, Bowman, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Abigail was born in Atlanta, January 31, 2002, daughter of Michael and Ronda Gordon Emmett. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Michael and Ronda Gordon Emmett; siblings, Caleb, Alyssa, and Elijah Emmett, all of the home; and grandparents, Randy and Lana Gordon of Comer and Annette Emmett of Commerce. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Emmett. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Saturday, July 9, at 2PM at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home, 2835 Bowman Highway, Bowman, and will receive friends from 12-2PM Saturday, just prior to the service at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Pallbearers will include Jason Taft, Gerald Hewell, Michael Hewell, Ed Lovin, Larry Brady, and Donnie Cordell.
