Ada Mae Ives

Ada Mae Hayes Ives, 87, of 2430 Paoli Street Comer, Georgia widow of the late Charles Ives passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Cobb Healthcare Center in Comer, Georgia. Born in Winchester, Kentucky March 16, 1925 to the late Clifford Hayes and Pearl McIntosh Hayes. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Left to cherish her memories are her children Carl Joseph "Jody" Ives of Lodi, California; Brenda Davis of Comer, Georgia; grandchildren James "Jimmy" Ives of Athens, Georgia; Tammy Ives of Lake City, Florida; Amy Lynn Jackson of Gillette, Wyoming; and great-grandchildren Jessica Davis of Comer, Georgia; Jennifer Davis of Comer, Georgia; Jenna Markham of Lake City, Florida; Bobbie Just of Bismark, North Dakota; and Jamie Ives of Rayle, Georgia. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by sons James "Jim" King Ives and Charlie Henry Ives; brothers Carl Hayes and Joe Hayes; and a sister Mary Cruz. Mrs. Ives wishes was cremation and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
