Adam Emory Dowell

Mr. Adam Emory Dowell, 40, of Pine Needle Lane, Elberton, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens.

Born on May 21, 1980 in Royston GA, he was the son of the late Billy Dowell Sr. and Annette Sabel Dowell. Mr. Dowell was a tree surgeon for CLC Services, and a member of the Milltown Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the US Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife: Kerri Griggs Dowell of the home; two sons: Drake Dowell and Easton Dowell, both of Elberton; one daughter: Reece Dowell of Elberton; two brothers: Aaron Dowell (Heather) and Billy Dowell, all of Hartwell; and one sister: Teresa Fleeman of Hartwell.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Adam Dowell will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
