Albert F. Price

Albert F. Price, 68, of Iva, husband of Norma Faye Evans Price, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. He was born in Elbert County, GA to the late William Rufus Price and Georgia Mae Rice Price.

Mr. Price was employed as a truck driver with J & M Tank Lines for 24 years where he was a proud member of the Million Mile Club. He retired from An Med Health in the Environmental Services Department and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iva.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darren Lonnie Price.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Norma, of 51 years of the home; a son, A. Kevin Price of Athens, GA; four brothers, James Price of Calhoun Falls, W. L. Price of Elbert County, GA; Thomas Price of Lowndesville, SC; and Robert Price of Elbert County, GA; and two sisters, Willie Mae Bass and Helen Owens, both of Elbert County, GA.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:30PM on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Iva. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Jerry Gray, Rev. Mike McMillion and Rev. Paul Pinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Iva City Cemetery.
