Mrs. Aldyne Hall Ray, 90, of Bowman, GA passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at her home.
Mrs. Ray was born in Hartwell, GA on June 22, 1931, daughter of the late Clyde S. Moss and the late Blanche Hall Moss. She was a bookkeeper and cashier having worked at Royston Ace Hardware and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray; son, Charles Thomas Ray; son-in-law, Greg Turner; and brother, Kenneth A. Moss.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael A. Ray of Bowman, GA, Mitchell and Kelly Ray of Canon, GA and Jeffery A. Ray of Royston, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Melinda Ray Turner of Elberton, GA and Jennifer and Dwayne Yeargin of Elberton, GA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ray will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, with Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Wednesday afternoon. During other times, the family will be at their respective homes.
