Alice Elaine Cooley

Alice Elaine Cooley, 68, of Elberton, GA, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Spring Valley Nursing Home. Ms. Cooley was born in Elbert County to the late Morgan and Rachel Seymour Cooley.She worked as a CNA at Spring Valley Nursing Home. Ms. Cooley is survived by several cousins:Robert W. Lavender and his wife, Phyllis, of Elberton;Frances Gail Lavender of Bowman; Doris Jordan and her husband, Boyd, of Hartwell, and Dewey Seymour and his wife, Diane, of Hartwell.She is also survived by an aunt, Mildred Cooley of Randleman, NC.Ms. Cooley was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Morgan Cooley. A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.Rev. Paul Rowe will be officiating.
