Alice Hambrick Holmes

Alice Hambrick Holmes, 45, of 63 Daniel Ext., Royston, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011, at her residence. Ms. Holmes was born in Hartwell, December 3, 1965, to the late Opel and Lizzie Brown Hambrick. She was of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Rosie Saldana of Morrisville, North Carolina and Martisia Holmes of Dewy Rose; siblings, Lynn Finley of Hartwell, Robert Ray Hambrick of Canon, Jessie Hambrick of Hartwell, and Sally Massey of Canon; and three grandchildren, Isaiah, Ashely, and Zachary Holmes. She is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Thurman Hambrick. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 3PM Sunday, December 4, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Dorsey Holmes officiating. Ms. Holmes will be cremated following the service. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3PM Sunday, just prior to the service.
