Amy Denise Jewell

Mrs. Amy Denise Branham Jewell, 53, of Tignall, GA, wife of 34 years to Carl Jewell, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in the comfort of her home.

Amy was born in Cincinatti, OH on August 23, 1962, daughter of the late Lawrence Coleman Branham and Dolores Frances Davis Branham. She was a stay-at-home mom and attended Athens Church. Amy enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening and decorating at her cozy country cabin. She was happiest while spending time with her family, bike riding, and at the beach. "Miss Amy" was a former WEE School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Elberton.

Her family members include: husband, Carl; children: Scott of Hampton, VA; Ashley Jewell and her daughter Addison of North Augusta, SC; April and Scott Eubanks of Athens, GA; Anna and Chad White and their children, Levi and CharlieAnne of Nicholson, GA: Alissa and Matt Stratton of Carlton, GA; and Audrey Jewell of the home; siblings: Connie and Wes Channell of Knoxville, TN, David and Chola Branham of Knoxville, TN, and Bradley and Kim Branham of Augusta, GA; special family friend, Chan Holt of N. Augusta, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Berry Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016, for family and close friends. Amy will be laid to rest on the family farm.

Amy would want you comfy; therefore, the family request everyone attending to please dress casually.
