Andrew Dwight Driver

Mr. Andrew Dwight “Tater” Driver, 77, of Lexington Highway, Elberton, husband of 49 years to Clara Andrews Moon Driver, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Driver was born in Elbert County on March 20, 1941, son of the late Bernice and Mary Elizabeth Pulliam Driver. He was a polisher having worked in the granite industry and a member of Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He is survived by his wife, Clara; great-grandson of the home, Christopher Moon; children and their spouses: Bobby and JoAnn Moon and Jennifer and Van Easterberg, all of Elberton; sisters: Mable Russell and Judy Driver, both of Dewy Rose; grandchildren: Tyler Wilder, Greg Moon, Jeff Moon, Billy Moon, Ashley Groue, Bobbie Scarborough, and June Madden; and other great-grandchildren: Kyle Thomas, Jerrod Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Camdyn Moon, Lydia Moon, Connor Moon, Jenkins Moon, Lily Moon, Wyatt Moon, Katelyn Bond, Kalee Bond, Breanna Groue, Gabriel Groue, and Noah Groue.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers: Lowell Pulliam and Arther Glenn Driver; sons: Billy Moon and Audry Moon; daughter, Tammy Moon Wilder; and grandson, William “Billy” Harvell, III.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 3:30p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Falling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 2:00-3:15p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
