Ann Adams Franklin

Martha Ann Adams Gully Franklin, 89, of Double Bridges Rd., Elberton, Georgia, wife of the late Dr. Rudolph Franklin, passed away on October 26, 2021 at her home.Mrs. Franklin was born August 5, 1932 to the late Arthur Hugh Adams and Vivian Euphemia Gaines Adams.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Parker Adams. Mrs. Franklin was a retired educator teaching first grade for 40 years.She began her career at Nancy Hart Elementary and then taught many years at Beaverdam Elementary in Elbert County.Ann was a devoted member of Concord United Methodist Church.She enjoyed her years as a member of the DAR, the Pink Ladies at Elbert Memorial Hospital and the Red Hat Society. Survivors include her brother Isham Hugh Adams and his wife, Judy, and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Forest Hills Memorial Park at 11 A.M. with Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. Memorials may be sent to Concord United Methodist Church, 2503 Harmony Rd Elberton, GA 30635. Arrangements for Ann Adams Franklin were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
