Mrs. Ann Laverne Sammons Tulk, 81, of Elberton, wife of the late Ralph William Tulk, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at her granddaughter’s home in Fountain Inn, SC.

Mrs. Tulk was born in Williamson, West VA on August 7, 1938, daughter of the late Frank Sammons and Clarice Linkenhoker Sammons. She was a graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH and worked as a Registered Nurse at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Redmond Park Hospital in Rome, and Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton. Ann was a member of Elberton Christian Church and enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her son, Scott Tulk of Easley, SC; sister, Frances Murray of N. Augusta, SC; grandchildren: Casey Tulk of Greenville, SC, Jamie and Brandon Harrison of Fountain Inn, SC, and Paige and Michael Mann of Easley, SC; seven great-grandchildren; niece, Leah Murray; great-niece, Melinda Page; and great-nephew, Allen Butts.

A time of visitation and drop in celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Sunday, August 2, from 2:00-4:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. Private burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Elberton Christian Church, 1128 Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, GA 30635.
