Anne Louise Stovall

Anne Louise Stovall passed from this life into her Heavenly Father on September 10, 2018.

She had been a resident of ManorCare of Decatur, Georgia and formerly a resident of Presbyterian Tower. She is survived by daughters: Patricia McNulty (Wayne) Davis of Atlanta, GA and Valeria McNulty (Tod) Johnson of Sedro-Woolly, WA and Elberton; grandson, Shane of California; and brother, James H (Gloria) Stovall of Greenville, SC. She was predeceased by her parents, Lennie Lee and Annie Lee (Hunt) Stovall of Elberton, Georgia, and a sister, Margaret Stovall (Wade) Thompson of Augusta, GA. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews and nine grand nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Elberton High School where she excelled in Varsity basketball and academics and was one of the top graduates. She attended GSCW, the University of Georgia and graduated from Agnes Scott College at age 70. She was a communicant of St Phillips Episcopal in Buckhead, GA and participated in many Singles activities. She was an avid reader, active in Women's support groups and enjoyed the people she had a rapport with.

Louise worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Medical Records and other business fields and in retail.

Our family thanks the Staffs of Presbyterian Tower, ManorCare, and Sacred Journey Hospice for their great care and kindness to Louise.

There will be a Receiving of Friends at Berry Funeral Home, 1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA on Saturday, September 15, at 1:15 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:15 PM conducted by Rev. Gary Purvis with burial at Elmhurst Cemetery, Elberton.
