Annette Brown Bond

Mrs. Annette Brown Bond, 79, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Bond was born to the late Curtis Andrew and Alleen Adams Brown.She worked at Pinnacle Bank in the loan department for 33 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Bond is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert A. Bond;two daughters: Brenda Chandler of Elberton, and Alesia (Jim) Burch of Hartwell; grandchildren: Robert (Kandice) Chandler, Rita Chandler, Anna Burch, Sara Beth Burch, and Ben Burch; and two great-granddaughters, Lake Chandler and Ever Chandler.She is also survived by two sisters:Jean (John) Scarborough of Elberton, and Sandra (Bill) Andrew of Roswell;and a sister-in-law, Marion Brown of Carlton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael A. Bond, and her brother, Wayne A. Brown. Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Harmony Baptist Church with Reverend Lynn Kellum officiating and Mr. Bill Andrew providing the eulogy.Committal servicesfollowed at Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation was Monday, February 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.
