Annie Caroline Smith

Mrs. Annie Caroline Scott Smith, 95, of Harmony Road, Elberton wife of the late David L. Smith passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born October 4, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Joseph Oliver Scott and May Scott. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law James "Jimmy" William and Margaret McMullan of Antioch, CA; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia Rae and Al Byers of Biggs, CA; Billie W. and Chris Hansford of Elberton, GA; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by daughters Joyce Annette Evans and Carol Bond and thirteen siblings. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM, Saturday, October 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Elberton with President Van Rownd officiating. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery in Manteca, California. The family will receive friends from 3-5PM Wednesday October 7 at Berry Funeral Home.
