Mrs. Annie Lou Griffith Epps, 85, of Monroe Dunn Road, Dewy Rose, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Epps was born in Franklin County, GA on April 6, 1934, daughter of the late Sewell Lee Griffith and Margie Elizabeth Smith Griffith. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Westclock Manufacturing.
Survivors include her children: Cathy Dias and Gloria Delane Veal, both of Dewy Rose and Johnny Mack Brown of Bowman; siblings: Reba Sue Weed of Bowman, Brenda Ann Truitt of Elberton, John R. Griffith of Lavonia, and Betty Doris Dodd of Commerce; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: William Griffith, Mary Tiller, Katie Bell, and Sarah Dale.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at 2 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacy Lynch officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
