Barbara Joy Gdanice Adams

Mrs. Barbara Joy Gdanice Adams, 65, of Cooter Creek Road, Elberton, GA, wife of Robert James “Bob” Adams, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Adams was born in Batavia, NY on April 29, 1959, daughter of Richard Gdanice and Patricia Bartlett Gdanice. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family and dogs, and was always eager to find a yard sale bargain.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of Elberton, GA and parents of New York, are her children: Allison (Ian) Lewis of Rincon, GA and Michael Gross of New York; brother, Richard of New York; and grandchildren: Isaac Lewis, Samuel Lewis, and Jacob Gross.

At the family’s request, no celebration of life events will be held.
