Betty Cooley Hendrix

Tommie Elizabeth Cooley "Betty" Hendrix, 82, of 94 Cade Street, Hartwell, widow of Charles Hendrix, passed away Sunday morning, June 24, 2012, at Hartwell Health Care Center. Mrs. Hendrix was born in Lake County, Florida, September 23, 1929, to the late Thomas Hayes and Billie A. Teasley Cooley. She was retired from the Atlanta Airport Food Service and Methodist by faith. Left to cherish her memories are two sons, Tom Black of Covington and Mike Hendrix of Elberton, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10AM Thursday, June 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.
