Betty Hall Safrit

Mrs. Betty Hall Safrit, 87, of Elberton, GA wife of the late Lewis E. Safrit passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at NHC of Anderson, SC.

Mrs. Safrit was born October 2, 1928 in Elberton, GA to the late Emory J. Hall and Azalee Dickerson Hall. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Elberton and was a retired clerk.

Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law Patricia Safrit of Anderson, SC, Laura and Chris Ward of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Melissa Ward Cranford and Shane Cranford; great-grandchild Ivy Gray Cranford and special nieces and nephews Jane and Craig Cleveland and Jimmy and Mary Jane Safrit.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sister-in-law Beth Edwards and a brother-in-law CB Safrit.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM, Monday July 11, 2016 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with her special cousin Billy Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends directly after the service for 30 minutes at Berry Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her honor to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
