Betty Oliver Berke

Mrs. Betty Oliver Berke, 94, of Cook St. Royston, GA wife of the late William Berke passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Brown Nursing and Rehab in Royston, GA. Mrs. Berke was born July 4, 1921 in New York, NY to the late William Oliver and Mary Bachney Oliver Edwards. She was a retired secretary at a Private School in New York. Left to cherish her memories include a sister Carol Laughlin of Lewis, NY and niece Barbara Briganti of Canon, GA. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Geoffrey Berke, brother William Oliver and a sister Adelaide Reinke. Mrs. Berke's wishes were to be cremated and her cremains carried back to New York for burial. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Betty Oliver Berke.
