Mrs. Betty Sparkman Green, 81, of Old Canon Church, Rd. Bowersville, GA passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 surrounded by her family. Betty was born January 1, 1934 in Sanford, FL to the late Floyd Sparkman and Myrtle Lee Adkins Sparkman. She was a business woman at heart, from her beginning at the US Naval Shipyard in Charleston, SC to Antique Dealer. Betty was a avid Horsewoman and ran the "Chuck Wagon Grill" in Bowersville, GA. She was a talented artist and displayed her art at her businesses. Left to cherish her memories are daughters and sons-in-law Mickey and Anthony Januszkiewicz of Charleston, SC; Lynnette and Randall Bible of Bowersville, GA; granddaughter Regina Reeves, great-granddaughter Makayla Hayes, brother Lee Sparkman of Sarasota, FL. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Skipper Green and brothers Robert Sparkman and Floyd Sparkman. Mrs. Green's wishes was to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has requested to please make memorials in her honor to American Cancer Society. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is respectfully in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Betty Sparkman Green.
