Billy Jack Anderson

Mr. Billy Jack Anderson, 79, of Salem Road, Royston, husband of Jannie Lavonda Smith Anderson, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital. 

Mr. Anderson was born in Morgan County on September 28, 1944, son of the late Joe Cal Anderson and Inez Conner Anderson. He was a member of Pennington Chapel Church and retired from Overhead Doors. 

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his sons: Brent Anderson and Chris (Michelle) Anderson, all of Royston; sister, Faye Lanier of Athens; and grandchildren: Christa Anderson of Winterville and Connor Anderson of Royston.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Joe Anderson and Joyce O’Kelley. 

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, October 29, at 2:00p.m. at Pennington Chapel Church.
