Billy Wayne Smith

Mr. Billy Wayne Smith, 72, of Ruckersville Road, Elberton husband of Donna Crisp Smith went to be with his Savior after an extended period of illness Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his home. Mr. Smith was born November 25, 1941 in Pickens County, SC to the late Chester Smith and Inez Mulligan Smith. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Liberty, SC and a U.S. Army veteran. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Donna Crisp Smith of the home; son Barry Smith of Elberton, GA; daughter Angela Holley of Elberton, GA; step-son Abraham (Ashley) Norton of Franklin, NC; siblings Carl (Betty) Smith of Edmond, OK; J.B. (Val) Smith of Clayton, GA; Donald (Joanne) Smith of Liberty, SC; Frank Smith of Easley, SC; grandchildren Cory Smith, Barry Wayne Smith, Pamela Dakota Smith, Savannah Marie Norton and Andrew Jackson Norton; a host of nephews and nieces and close friends Dwight Black and Danny Keith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Brian Keith Smith, daughters; Pamela Jean Smith, Billie Jean Smith Cade and his ex-wife Eloise Smith. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 1PM, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the home on Ruckersville Road.
