Blanche Saylors Burden

Mrs. Blanche Saylors Burden, 81, of Dewy Rose, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Burden was born in Lavonia, Georgia to the late John Benjamin Saylors and Pearl Brady. She was a seamstress at Elberton Manufacturing for many years and she loved her 2 chihuahuas. Mrs. Burden is survived by a daughter, Terri D. Burden, and two sons Robert W. Scales, and Donald E. Scales all of Elberton. Grandchildren Heather N. Evans of Elberton, Jason W. Scales of Grandview, TN, Amanda Beth Jones, Amber Michelle Haygood, Ashley Hope Willis and one great grandchild Jayden Evans. Also, her siblings Ester, Joe, Ben, Leon, and Lawrence. The family has chosen cremation with a service to be held at a later date. Arrangements for Ms. Blanche Saylors Burden are respectfully in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
