Blondean Lovin McAllister, 84, of 175 Tusten Street, Elberton, wife of the late Ralph Eugene McAllister, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012, at her residence. Born in Lawrenceville, Georgia November 12, 1927 to the late Henry Lovin and Margaret Hall Lovin. Mrs. McAllister was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Peggy McAllister of Elberton, Georgia; sisters Evelyn Thornton and Shirley Williams both of Elberton, Georgia; brother Henry Lovin of Conyers, Georgia; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Katie and Philip Thompson of Elberton, Georgia, and a great granddaughter Rachel Thompson. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Clyde Lovin and Blanton Lovin. Graveside services celebrating her life will be held Thursday, February 2, at 2PM at Elmhurst Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Lovin and Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. The McAllister family will be at the home of Bobby and Peggy McAllister, 536 Rhodes Drive, Elberton and will receive friends from 1-2PM just prior to the service graveside at Elmhurst Cemetery.
