Bobbie Linda Carroll Kelley

Bobbie Linda Carroll Kelley, 80, of Dacula died peacefully October 11, 2022, at Abundant Living Personal Care Home in Comer, GA. Born June 24, 1942, in Martin, GA, Linda was the daughter of the late Preston and Ruth Bryant Carroll. She was a graduate of West Gwinnett High School in Norcross, GA and spent her professional life in the insurance industry. Linda shared her life with her husband of 35 years, Edward Kelley, who died in 1999. After Ed’s death, Linda took up painting and if you were lucky, you were a recipient of one of her lovely works of art. Linda was a member of the New Beginnings Life Group Class at North Metro Church. She was an avid Alabama football fan and a lover of dogs. She was a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her brother George Carroll (Vera), sister Betty Williams, nephews Gerry Carroll (Lori) and Al McFarlin, niece Lynne Leverett along with great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Bonnie McFarlin. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Linda’s neighbors Greg and Alison Steed and Dora and Joel Carrasto for their love and care of Linda for so many years and also to Abundant Living Personal Care Home for their dignified care of Linda the last few weeks.

Visitation will be Friday October 14 at 10::30 AM and funeral services at 11:00 AM at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home in Peachtree Corners. Burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Linda Kelley to Agape Hospice Care 2350 Prince Avenue Athens, GA 30606.
