Bobbie Parham Lunsford

Bobbie Parham Lunsford, 71, of 2657 Sand Hill Road, Bowman, wife of Sherman L. Lunsford, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lunsford was born in Elbert County, September 16, 1941, to the late Robert Jasper and Janie Lorene Hancock Parham. She was a retired weaver and a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Sherman L. Lunsford, to whom she was married March 12, 1957; children, Debbie Smith and her husband Danny and Randy Lunsford and his wife Donna, both of Bowman; grandchildren, Rita Dempsey, Daniel Smith, Matthew Smith, Kelly Brown, and Kyle Lunsford; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Dempsey and Brent Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by great-grandson, Andrew Smith; and siblings, Edwin Moon and Frances Guest. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, July 9, at 2:00p.m. in the Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Private interment will follow at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00p.m. Tuesday to lie instate until the hour of service. The family is at the residence of Randy and Donna Lunsford, 2679 Sand Hill Road, Bowman, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00p.m. Monday evening. Flowers will be accepted.
