Bobby Gordon Spurlock

Mr. Bobby Gordon Spurlock, 83, of Brittany Cove. Lavonia, GA husband of Mary Ann Brister Spurlock passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House of the Upstate in Anderson, SC. Mr. Spurlock was born February 9, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to the late Alton Jasper Spurlock and Opal Gordon Spurlock. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia, a U.S. Air Force / Navy Korean War Veteran and a retired industrial machinery salesman. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Mary Ann Brister Spurlock; son Alton Spurlock of Anderson, SC; grandchildren Ryan, Amber, Kelli, Michael, Ashli; and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Alexander, Wade, Lindsey, Lillie and Brennen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Joni Tyree Mitchell. Private memorial services to celebrate his life will be held later. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Bobby Gordon Spurlock.
