Bobby Joe Fortson

Mr. Bobby Joe Fortson, 73, of Winston Dr. Athens, GA passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Fortson was born August 15, 1944 in Elberton, GA to Ester L. Fortson and Arsula Smith Fortson. He was a retired warehouse worker and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include daughters: Jennifer D. Tukes, Alexandria Fortson; siblings: Gartrell Fortson, Shirley Fortson Robinson, Samuel Fortson and Hilda Fortson Bell.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 1PM, Friday, January 26 at New Era Baptist Church in Elberton, GA.
