Brantlee Mccannon

Brantlee McCannon, 7, of Abbeville, beloved son of Matthew and Regina Wilson McCannon, died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Brantlee, affectionately known as ‘Ninja’, was in the second grade at Long Cane Elementary School. He enjoyed spearmint, candy, ice cream sandwiches, kayaking, playing with his puppy, ‘Landon’ and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. Brantlee loved his brother, Bryson, and was always happy when they spent time together playing. His energetic personality made him easy to love and Brantlee was deeply loved by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Regina, and brother, Bryson McCannon all of the home; maternal grandparents, Charles ‘Bud’ Wilson and Vickie F. Wilson of Abbeville; paternal grandparents, David McCannon and Bebe Lunsford McCannon of Carlton, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 3:30PM, Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will visit with friends after the burial.
