Bruce Scoggins

Mr. Marvin Bruce Scoggins, 56, of Deerfield Rd., Elberton, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Scoggins was born October 20, 1960 in Royston, GA to Marvin Lee Scoggins and Dorothy Louise Drake Scoggins. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a foreman in the granite industry.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Corey and Ashley Scoggins of Lavonia, GA, daughters and sons-in-law: Brittany and Lee Daniel of Colbert, GA, Jenna and Travis Diedrich of Elberton, GA; mother: Dorothy Louise Drake Scoggins of Elberton, GA; siblings and their spouses: Louise and Mike Blackston of Elberton, GA, Bryan L. Scoggins of Elberton, GA, Gregory A. and Kim Scoggins of Carlton, GA, Peggy and Clark Davis of Elberton, GA; grandchildren: Taylor Leighanne Daniel, Mason Owen Daniel, Skyleigh Kay Diedrich, Travis Leroy Diedrich, Jr. and Micah Bruce Scoggins.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 4PM, Wednesday, June 21 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Thrift officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Mr. Scoggins will be cremated following the service.
