Mr. Bryan Alan Gaddy, 45, of Dewy Rose, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.He was a native of Asheville, North Carolina, the son of Rodney Gaddy and Vivian Cassada Mitchell.Bryan was the proprietor of Backwoods Forestry Mulching, a company he started from ground up less than two years ago.He was proud of the accomplishments his hard work had brought.When he wasn’t working, Bryan enjoyed camping. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Donna Ivester Gaddy; daughters, Jessica Toole and her husband, Adam of Elberton, Jaycie Gaddy, of Dewy Rose and Alana West, of Elberton; Mother, Vivian Mitchell, of Sylva, N.C.; Father Rodney Gaddy and his wife, Lori, of Dewy Rose; one grandson, Dakota Toole; brother, Adam (Courtney) Gaddy, Dewy Rose; sisters, Vicki Gaddy, Leicester, N.C. and Hannah (C. J.) Timms, of Dewy Rose; Mother-in-Law, Barbara Ivester, of Dewy Rose and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bryan's life was held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with Rev. Troy Ayers officiating.
