Carey Grant Smith

Mr. Carey Grant Smith, 73, of Highway 174 Danielsville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Mr. Smith was born January 18, 1945 in Madison County, GA to Robert Buford Smith and Annie Mae Carey Smith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was self employed.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie Dyer Smith; sons: Trevor Smith of Watkinsville, GA, Andrew Ryan Smith of Ogden, UT; daughter: Cara Smith of Athens, GA; mother: Annie Mae Carey Smith of Athens, GA; siblings: Lee Smith (Deborah) of White Plains, GA, Brenda Carlyle (Terry) of Green Cove Springs, FL, Diane Anderson (Dr. Robert) of Hull, GA, Robert C. Smith (Clara) of Carnesville, GA, Allen Smith of Monroe, GA, Randy Smith (Donna) of Watkinsville, GA, Ricky Smith (Phoebe) of Danielsville, GA, Connie Wilcher (Dee) of Athens, GA and three grandchildren.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister: Bertha Louise Smith.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Danielsville, GA.
