Carlene Margaret Capobianco

Carlene Margaret Capobianco, born in Winchester, MA on September 25, 1950, entered into rest at her home in Elberton, GA on November 30, 2023, at the age of 73.

She worked as a real estate investor and most recently retired as manager from Home Depot. Carlene was an avid equestrian, but most importantly a proud mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children: Carl Michael Mitcheson of Atlanta, GA, Taryn Faith Doak Rodgers of Elberton, GA and Nicholas Paul Kania of Elberton, GA; grandson, Carter James Glenn of Elberton, GA; and brother, Ralph “Chip” Capobianco.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl John Capobianco and Margaret Faith Denton Capobianco.

 

Friends will be received on Sunday, December 3, from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Carlene’s life will be celebrated on Monday, December 4, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted. Those wishing to honor Carlene’s memory are encouraged to do so by donating to your local food pantry during the holiday season - a cause that was near and dear to her heart.
