Carole Oglesby

Mrs. Beverly Carole Albertson Oglesby, 77, of Smith Oglesby Dr., Elberton passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Oglesby was born May 17, 1942 in Elberton, GA to Saint Paul Albertson and Elizabeth Edwards Albertson Smith. She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, was the former legal secretary for Judge Grant, an interior decorator and was an antique dealer where she owned and operated Oglesby Antiques and Collectibles in Bowman, GA.

She is survived by her husband William Lanier "Boots" Oglesby, daughters and son-in-law: Paula Armstrong of Elberton, GA, Amanda and Dr. Frank Casey of Macon, GA, son: Ben Oglesby of Elberton, GA; grandchildren: Christa Cobo, BJ Oglesby, Patrick Armstrong, Zachary Armstrong, Lauren Casey, Peyton Oglesby and Megan Casey.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 3PM, Sunday September 15 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church with Father John Keeler officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with BJ Oglesby, Zachary Armstrong, Dr. Frank Casey, Alec Guest, Jerry Oglesby and Lee Vaughn serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just prior to the service at St. Alban's Episcopal Church.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in her memory to St. Alban's Episcopal Church.
