Carolyn G. Adams

Mrs. Carolyn Gore Adams, 75, passed away, October 1, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Pierce Jerome Gore and Mary Virginia Wilcox Gore.She was married to the late (J.D.) James Dozier Adams. She was a retired secretary,having worked at ELCO Credit Union for many years. Survivors include her children: Jann Adams and James Dozier Adams, II; grandchildren: William Barry Boatright, Jr., Carolyn Virginia Boatright, and Allison Nichole Bond; great-granddaughter Harley Gales; brothers and sister: Robert J. (Sara) Gore, Jack (Bobbie) Gore, Gloria Strickland and Wayne (Pat) Gore. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Dewy Rose, Georgia. Flowerswill be accepted.
