Catherine Dunn Whitworth

Mrs. Catherine Dunn Whitworth, 71, of Lilburn, Georgia passed away Friday, May 20, 2011, at Embracing Hospice House in Snellville, Ga. Mrs. Whitworth was born September 4, 1939 to the late Monroe Henry Dunn and Edith Mae Dickerson Dunn. She is survived by her daughter, Clair (Daniel) Kiernan of Lilburn, Ga., and sister Iris (Jerry) Brown of Elberton, Ga.Mrs. Whitworth was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Whitworth, son Gary Michael Whitworth, sisters Betty Singleton, Frances Martin, Elaine Barton, and brother Monroe Dunn, Jr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hicks Funeral Home Chapel in Elberton.Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening, May 25, 2011 at Hicks Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.Interment will be at the Whitworth Family Cemetery, Danielsville, Ga..
