Cecelia Fostine Jaynes, 73, of 228 Forest Lane Colbert, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Born March 7, 1940 in Athens, Georgia to the late Curtis W. Jaynes, Sr. and Evie Lee Patterson Jaynes. She was a retired house mother for troubled youth. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Susan Stephens of Colbert, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Tommy Hanson, Jr. and Sharon Hanson of Jefferson, Georgia; sister Joyce Doster of Hull, Georgia; brothers Chuck Jaynes of Nevada; and Boyce Jaynes of Athens, Georgia; Grandchildren Maranda and Jason Flucher, Diana and Brent Corbit, Jennifer, Tommy, Jr. and Brittany Hanson; great grandchildren Sierra, Garett, Allen, DeAnna, Hailey, Ashley, Bo, Destiny, Cecelia, Isabelle, Jaiden, Casen, Emily, Ascher, Cecil and Kaylee. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 6PM at Whitehall Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia.
