Cecil David Johnson

Cecil David Johnson, 67, of 1662 Bodie Rayle Road Elberton husband of Ruth Pless Johnson died Saturday May 22, 2010. Born in Elbert County he was a son of the late Ralph Johnson and Janie Lee Davis Johnson. He was a member of Ruckersville United Methodist Church and was a top polisher. Survivors include his wife of the home Ruth Pless Johnson, daughter and son-in-law Pam and Danny Huff, sons and daughters-in-law Derrell and Brenda Johnson and Shane and Audrey Johnson, sisters Frances Davis, Betty Ivester, Vera Ingram, Helen Johnson, and Faye Yearwood, brothers Tommy Johnson, and Alvin Johnson, grandchildren Amanda Huff, Brian Huff, Linda Huff, Danielle Fain, and Buddy and four great-grandchildren all of Elberton, GA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 25, at 2PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Al Davis, Rev. Douglas Huff, and Wayne Gailey officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will be at the home and will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday night at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include D.J. Nester, Kevin Driver, Jake Driver, Kyle Adriance, Dan Segars, and Billy Erwin. Honorary pallbearers will be the nephews. Berry Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Cecil David Johnson.
