Mr. Charles Curtis Davis, 77, of Lilburn, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Pruitt Healthcare of Lilburn. A native of Berry, Alabama, he was the son of the late Vester and Nana Billana Louise Wilson Davis.He was retired from the construction industry.Mr. Davis served his country in the National Guard.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles A. Davis, and daughter-in-law, Cathy J. Davis. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Kay Evans Davis; daughter, Belinda Davis and her husband, Lawrence Foth, of Kennesaw; five grandchildren and their spouses: John Brewer (Ansley) of Temple, William Davis (Ruth) of Braselton, Carolyn Brewer (Shann Sidhilall) of Lawrenceville, Blake Davis (Star) of Lilburn, and Vivian Davis (Ricardo Gonzalez) of Conyers; and eight great-grandchildren.He also leaves two nieces, Libby Armstrong and Rene′ Rollins; and nephew, John Story. A service celebrating the life of Mr. Daviswas held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. Entombment followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Blake Davis, John Brewer, Shann Sidhilall, John Story, Will Davis, and Lawrence Foth serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements for Mr. Charles C. Davis were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
