Charles Nathan Dennis

Mr. Charles Nathan Dennis, 76, of Filter Plant Dr. Elberton, GA passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA.

Mr. Dennis was born July 22, 1947 in Florence, SC to Nathan Galveston Dennis, Jr. and Marianne Wills Dennis. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran where he received three purple hearts and was a former sandblaster and truck driver.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Haynie Dennis; son and daughter-in-law: Curtis Nathan Dennis and Cathy Dennis of Elberton, GA, daughter: Catherine Dennis of Athens, GA; mother: Marianne Wills Dennis of Pensacola, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas E. Dennis and Virginia Dennis, Richard Dennis and Karen Dennis all of Pensacola, FL, sister and brother-in-law: Georgia Abbott and David Abbott of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren: Donovan and Ashley Dennis, Kimberly Dennis, Christopher Dennis and one great-grandchild: Lawton Dennis.

He was preceded in death by his father: Nathan Galveston Dennis, Jr.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 11AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM to 11AM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
