Charles Stephen "Steve" Richardson

Mr. Charles Stephen “Steve” Richardson, 57,of Elberton, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. A native of Elberton, Steve was the son of Charles W. and Annie Ruth Harris Richardson.He was married to Lisa B. Richardson. Steve was employed by Interglo Stone in their shipping department prior to becoming disabled. Steve was a member of Dewy Rose Baptist Church, and will always be remembered for his unique and thought-provoking devotions at church.He also loved listening to beach and Shag music, and as he called it, the “oldies.” Steve is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa B. Richardson; his parents: Charles W. and Annie Ruth Harris Richardson.a daughter, Stephanie Langol and her husband, John, of Pittsburg, PA; and two grandchildren: Jack Langol and Sam Langol.He also leaves behind several extended family members. A service to celebrate Steve’s life was held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dewy Rose Baptist Church, with Rev. Kenny Martin officiating.Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.Ben Thompson, Charles Willis, Jeff Burden, Ashley Poole, Josh Carrington, and Everett Worley served as pallbearers. A time of visitation was held on Friday evening, January 29, 2021 from at Dewy Rose Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Dewy Rose Baptist Church, P.O. Box 149, Dewy Rose, GA 30634.
