Charles Cleveland Wansley, 83, of 2828 Lazy River Drive, Elberton, husband of ToledaCarter Wansley, passed away at Elbert Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010. He was the son of the late Gus and Mary Lanier Wansley.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Toleda Carter Wansley, son; Charles A. Wansley, daughter; Ellen Wansley and granddaughter Jessica Garnto, all of Elberton. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.A life long Presbyterian, Charles worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 40 years in Miami, Tampa and Atlanta.After retiring Charles and Toleda returned to Elberton to enjoy living on Clarks Hill Lake.He was a member of the Historical Society, Sons of the American Revolution and the Coca-Cola Fountain Sales Retirees Club. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from the Elberton First Presbyterian Church at 1 PMwith Reverend Mike Woods officiating.
