Chris Turner

Mr. Joel Christopher Turner, 48, of 1750 Shiloh Road, Kennesaw, Georgia,passed away at Emory Medical Center on October 25, 2011. Chris is the son of Mrs. Joyce Mann and the late Joel Turner. Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home withRev. Jack Bozeman officiating.Interment will follow at New Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, Mrs. Joyce Mann, survivors include: a son, Jack C. Turner of Kennesaw; maternal grandmother, Bessie A. Mize of Hartwell; a brother, Frankie (Melissa) Turner of Braselton; a niece, Kaitlyn Turner;and a nephew, Franklin Turner. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank S. White of Hartwell,and paternal grandparents, Clifford Lee Turner and Mollie Adams Turner of Elbert County. Chris was a native of Elberton, Georgia and was self-employed as a real estate appraiser.
