Christine Moon Brock

Mrs. Christine (Memaw) Brock of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 5, 2012. Christine was born May 10, 1945, to the late, Joseph Aubra and Ruby Yeargin Moon. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Moon Osborne and two brothers, J.C. Moon and Horace Moon. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Ruby Lynne Smith and her husband, Leslie, of Fayetteville, Georgia; son, Tony Brock and his wife, Kim, of McDonough, Georgia; a sister, Barbara Jean Gabriel of Talking Rock, Georgia; and brothers: Carl Moon and Raymond Moon, both of Elberton. Mrs. Brock leaves behind four grandchildren: Frank Brock, Michael Smith, Danielle Brock, and Ansly Brock. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, Georgia. Visitation will be held from 12 noon -2:00 p.m. just prior to the service at Hicks Funeral Home. Interment to follow the service at Elmhurst Cemetery, Elberton, Georgia.
