Cindy Ann Haigood

Cindy Haigood, age 34, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 while she was surrounded by her loving family. 

Cindy had a pure heart who loved everyone and who appreciated all of God’s creations.  She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers, baiting a hook, and time spent in a deer stand. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Stephanie Haigood.

She is survived by her loving husband, Josh Haigood of Elberton; son, Tyson Haigood of Elberton; mother, Patsy Hill of Royston; father, Roy Graham of Royston; sister, Crystal Yarbrough (husband, Ashley) of Elberton; brothers, Lewis Graham (wife, Tara) of Madison County and Billy Joe “BJ” Graham of Canon; mother-in-law, Shellie Willis (husband, Ricky); sister-in-law, Amanda Haigood; several nieces and nephews; and countless other family members and loving friends.  She also leaves behind the children she brought into her home daycare and loved like her own. 

The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Wednesday at Hicks Funeral Home.

A celebration of Cindy's life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Hicks.  Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kevin Strong, Joey Christian, Mark Clamp, Donnie Graham, Evan Yarbrough, and Tyler Bridges.  Brother Greg Teasley will officiate and interment will follow in Stinchcomb United Methodist Church cemetery. 

Cindy loved flowers and they are appreciated; or memorials may be directed to the family to assist with Tyson's future educational expenses.
