Clifford Walter Rogers

Mr. Clifford Walter Rogers, 85, of Old Middleton Rd., Elberton husband of Joan Walker Rogers passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Nancy Hart Nursing Home. Mr. Rogers was born December 16, 1929 in Algood, TN to the late Swept Rogers and Denton Hampton Rogers. He was a member of Elberton First United Methodist Church where he was a choir member, a member of the Mary Freeman Sunday School Class and was retired from the Corp of Engineers. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Joan Walker Rogers, sons and daughter-in-law Tim and Cindy Rogers of Elberton, GA, Phillip Rogers of Corvallis, OR, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter in law Kim Rogers and a granddaughter. Memorial services to celebrate his life are tentatively planned for the summer of 2016. In lieu of flowers please make memorials in his honor to the Elberton First United Methodist Church Choir.
