Corine Lovinggood Teasley

Mrs. Corine Lovinggood Teasley, 83 of Elberton, GA passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020.

Mrs. Teasley was born on July 10, 1937, in Elberton, GA to Sam Lovinggood and Ruby Casper Lovinggood. She was a bookkeeper and attended Elberton Christian Church.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law: Stanley Teasley and Kent and Renee Teasley; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Doug Slay, all of Elberton, GA; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merrell Johnson Teasley and siblings: SJ Lovinggood and Jimmy Lovinggood.

Graveside services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 14, at 11 o'clock at Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Adams and the Rev. Jamie Callaway officiating. Friends are encouraged to practice social distancing and may want to bring a lawn chair.

Mrs. Teasley will lie instate at Berry Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, from 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guestbook.

The family will be at the home of Kent and Renee Teasley and Wanda and Doug Slay.
