Cornelia Bryson Moon

Cornelia Bryson Moon, 88, of 187 N. Broad Street, Bowman, widow of James Moon, Sr., died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Moon was born in Franklin County, October 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Willie Jack and Carrie Watson Moon. She was a member of the Bowman Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include a son, James Moon, Jr. of Bowman; daughters, Jean Moon of Bowman and Carolyn M. Olds of Carlton; four grandchildren. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2PM, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Olds and Rev. Robert Spivey officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family is at the home and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 1-2 PM Saturday.
