Cornelia Moore Kidd

Cornelia Moore Kidd, 88 of 545 Rhodes Drive Elberton, widow of the late James Vernon Kidd Sr. died Wednesday April 15, 2009. Born in Elbert County she was the daughter of the late David P. Moore and Ruby Murtis Seymour Moore.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elberton and was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons James Vernon Kidd Jr. of Newan,Ga. and Ronald David Kidd of Elberton, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 18, at 11AM graveside at Elmhrust Cemetery with Rev. Gary Purvis officiating.The family will be at 545 Rhodes Dr. Elberton, and 200 S. Thomas St. Elberton, and will receive friends from 7-9PM Friday night at Berry Funeral Home.
