Cornelius "Buddy" Mcelhannon

Mr. Cornelius "Buddy" McElhannon, 63, of Amberly Dr. Hull, GA passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. McElhannon was born September 14, 1954 in Greene County, GA to Carl McElhannon and Lynn Young McElhannon. He was a small engine repairman and lawn maintenance keeper.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann Stowe Gosnell of Hull, GA; son: Tommy McElhannon of Athens, GA; step-sons: Scott Stowe of Royston, GA, Jason Guest of Columbus, GA; step-daughters: Ashley Guest of Hull, GA, Amber Guest of Trinidad, CO; siblings: Terry McElhannon of Winder, GA, Connie McElhannon Scarborough of Elberton, GA, Kathy McElhannon of Union Point, GA, and Sarah Ann Hall of Union Point, GA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Tonya McElhannon; and sisters: Jane McElhannon, Vickie McElhannon and Hazel McElhannon.

Buddy was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
